  1. Please note the following points:-

  4. 1. If you want to use maths & greek symbols in the SciGraph 'Legend'
  5.    window, note that 
  6.    (a) you need to have the 'Symbol' font file included in your !Fonts
  7. application (Double click on !Fonts while pressing the shift key will
  8. open up the !Fonts directory viewer, you can then copy the Symbol font
  9. directory into this viewer.) and that 
  10.    (b) the Graph title and X and Y axis lables are generated as Draw
  11. 'text area objects' in the final drawfile. Thus, you can get effects
  12. like super and subscripting as well as greek symbols by including the
  13. appropriate 'escape control code sequences' (see the section on text
  14. area objects in the Risc Os user guide under !Draw). You can of course
  15. not use any text area objects by blanking out the Legend entries but
  16. you will then need to enter your own text into the final drawfile once
  17. it has been loaded into !Draw or !DrawPlus (this lets you rotate any
  18. text after it has been made into a path object... very useful)

  21. 2. This suite of applications (SciEdit,SciModel,SciTrans & SciGraph)
  22.    is Shareware.
  23.  
  24.    (The Symbol font is public domain (from the Newcastle Archive)
  25.  
  26.    I have put a lot of time and effort into developing these programs,
  27.    hence, if you find any of them useful, I would ask you to register
  28.    yourself as a user of this package. The registration fee is £5
  29.    (five english pounds). 
  30.        Registration entitles you to free new versions of all the above
  31.    mentioned applications when they become available, as well as improved
  32.    support (and willingness to add special features).
